Nadezhda Pisareva

Nadezda Pisareva, noted for her “incredible talent… rarely encountered technical dexterity and mastership,” and her “beautiful and yet simple” interpretations (Polskie Radio 1), is a silver medalist and chamber music prizewinner at the Scottish International Piano Competition 2010 in Glasgow, winner of Audience prize and 3d prize at the Val Tidone International Piano Competition 2015 in Italy and prizewinner at the ARD International Music Competition 2014 in Munich. Nadezda  performs in Russia, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Japan, China and other countries as a soloist and passionate chamber musician. She performed in such venues as Great Hall of Moscow Conservatory, Flagey in Bruxelles, Glasgow City Halls in Glasgow, Palatio Festivales in Santander and others.

In the 2014/15 season Nadezda played her debut recital at the Moscow State Philharmonic and also performed during the Verbier Festival.

In 2016 Nadezda joined german concert series "Weltklassik am Klavier', she performs frequently in the whole Germany.

In 2013 Nadezda released her debut CD, containing works by Robert Schumann, on the Classical Records label. Her second CD was recorded in 2014 as a joint project between saxophonist Hannah Stoll, the Mecklenburg Foundation and Deutschland Radio Kultur: Hannah and Nadezda recorded music by the Berlin composer Gustav Bumcke.

Nadezda collaborated with  such orchestras as BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and conductor Martyn Brabbins in Glasgow, Orchetsre Royal de Chambre de Wallonie and conductor Paul Meyer in Bruxelles and others.  The performance of 3d Piano Concerto by S. Prokofiev in Glasgow City Halls was described by The Herald (Glasgow) as “wonderful, light, effervescent and totally exhilarating.” 

Chamber music is a big part of Nadezhda’s musical life. She has collaborated with many wonderful musicians, including the Casals Quartet, the Brodsky Quartet, the Faust Quartet, violinists Diana Tischenko, Ekaterina Nazarova, Arata Yumi and Yu Kurokawa, and cellists Andreas Brantelid and Alexandr Ramm. Nadezda also frequently performs in a piano duo with her husband, the pianist Georgy Tchaidze (www.georgytchaidze.com). In October 2017 Nadezda and Georgy gave 17 concerts in China including concert in Shanghai Oriental Arts center, in 2018 follows the second China tour.

Born in 1987 into a family of musicians in Moscow, Nadezda Pisareva studied music at the Central Music School with Honored Teacher of Russia Tamara Koloss until 2005, then at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory with People's Artist of Russia, Professor Sergey Dorensky and his assistants N. Lugansky, A. Pisarev and P. Nersessian until 2010. A full scholarship from DAAD Foundation in 2010 enabled her to move to Berlin and study at the University of the Arts with Professor Klaus Hellwig. She has also attended masterclasses given by Aquiles Delle Vigne, Arie Vardi, Peter Donohoe, Stephen Kovacevich, Bernd Goetzke , Matti Raekallio, Maria João Pires and Ferenc Rados. In 2013/14 Nadezda was Artist in Residence at the Chapelle Musicale Reine Elisabeth in Belgium and took lessons from Abdel Rahman El Bacha. She is a member of Yehudi Menuhin Foundation in Berlin since 2014.
