Ilia Lomtatidze

Born in Tbilisi, Georgia, Ilia Lomtatidze began playing piano at the age of 7. Ilia has been the scholar of the foundation “SOS Talents” since 8 years old. His concerts were broadcasted by Mezzo TV in 45 countries and TV 5 Monde during Gala concerts in France and Switzerland several times. IIia was invited in several festivals. He took part in festival Kaunas,”Ljubljana Festival’’, Annecy Classic Festival“and „FESTIVAL D'AUVERS-SUR-OISE“. Ilia annually takes part in the international festival “Batumi Music Fest”, founded by famous pianist, UNESCO Artist for Peace, Elisso Bolkvadze. Ilia had concerts in the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, The Concertgebouw in Holland, United Nations Concert Hall in Geneva. Ilia is the winner of numerous international piano competitions. In 2015 Ilia won the first prize in an international piano competition – “Astana Piano Passion” and became a solo receiver of the special prize from the President of Kazakhstan, Mr. Nursultan Nazarbayev. He performed as a soloist in Astana Opera Concert Hall. He participated in Sochi International Festival, Stars of Baikal, Crescendo Festival d’Auverssur Oise and Annecy Classic Fest invited by Denis Matsuev.

            Ilia participated in Music International Summer Academy “MISA” in 2017 founded by pianist Shorena Tsintsabadze and became one of the active soloists of MISA's concert series. In 2018 Ilia had a solo concert in Basel, Switzerland, organized by MISA. After This concert, he was invited In Basel, Switzerland to perform List Concert N2 with Basel Symphony Orchestra. Ilia Lomtatidze studies at Evgeni Mikeladze Tbilisi Central Musical School with the teacher Natalia Natsvlishvili.
